  PMS Chart

  PMS stands for Pantone Matching System, and is used to replicate printed colors from one item to another as closely as possible. Please keep in mind that all monitors display color differently from one another, but this chart can be used to get a good idea of what a particular color would look like. Additionally, the Pantone Matching System was designed for ink on paper. The promo industry uses PMS, but since the inks are so different than inks used to print on paper, the best we can do is to do our best. In most instances it works out just fine. There are times, however when printing on dark substrates changes the color of an ink. Let's discuss this if you're going to be printing on darks.
